Kamen Visoka doo – eksploatacija prirodnog kamena andezita
Our experience has taught us how important it is to feel the rock, to see how it has changed over millions of years, slowly from the surface to the depths of the mountain. That experience helps us to read what the rock tells us and how to safely penetrate deeper.
Our goal is to extract the largest and highest quality granite blocks.
We achieve this by a combination of various methods, using a cable with diamond beads, splitting with expansion mass and pneumatic wedges. By combining these techniques, we have achieved a useful exploitation mass of 30%, which is a very rare case in obtaining the highest quality block.

Quarrying is an art that requires knowledge of the rock and its structure.
We start production in our quarry Visoka on the mountain Rudnik, Serbia, with exploitation in the form of massive granite blocks, whose volume is up to 100m 3 . Our goal is the exploitation of the largest and highest quality pieces. The primary block, which weighs almost 260 tons, is divided into smaller commercial blocks of 36 tons and more in such a way as to produce high-quality blocks. After exploitation, the blocks are transported to production plants in Maidan, where they are additionally processed into semi-finished or final products.
Many of our employees have many years of experience working in quarries. They created a special feeling for the rock, as well as how it behaves – an experience based on knowledge.
Visoka quarry is located in the area of the village of Zagradje, about 8.5 km from Rudnik. It is connected to Rudnik by an asphalt road in the length of 6 km and a 2.5 km hard macadam road. From the town of Rudnik, to the production halls in nearby Maidan, where the company’s headquarters are located, there is a direct connection via the main road, which provides logistics and production.
Natural granite is exploited from the quarry wall, in the form of large blocks. Then, we cut these blocks into smaller blocks, slabs or other shapes.
The first step is to remove the “primary block”, which is a large piece of rock detached from the quarry wall. We achieve this by using a cable with diamond beads, splitting with expansion mass and pneumatic wedges.
The primary block can vary in stone size up to 100 cubic meters , 260 tons !
We have set a goal to exploit 5,500 cubic meters for this year.
The Visoka quarry is located in the area of Rudnik mountain. From our quarry, we exploit raw materials, which we use for a wide range of products, which we produce in our factory plants, which is located in the village of Majdan.
The main products that come out of our production are: granite curbs, solid cut granite, sawdust boards, which can be surface treated with the technique-technology: burning, stocking, brushing, sandblasting, polishing.
Also, we perform rustic processing such as: splitting and bunking: cubes, cobblestones, quarry stone, split stone for masonry, slabs for paving parks, and squares.
From the exploitation process, a large amount of stone was obtained, which is used for landslide remediation, stabilization of terrain on roads, banks, and fortifications of riverbeds.
We base our business on the exploitation of granite, from our quarry, to the production of finished products and semi-finished products. The first step in our business is fast and quality exploitation of primary units. In order to raise the quality of the exploited blocks, the analysis of the Visoka deposit with the latest techniques and technologies is done every day, in order to achieve the maximum results of the use of the blocks from the total rock mass.

Our business is based on the exploitation, processing, and processing of granite from our quarry, which has large reserves of granite, certified by the Ministry of Mining and Energy of the Republic of Serbia.
The procedure of extracting granite from traditional methods: drilling, splitting, rolling, and blasting, which are obsolete methods, has become a modern and economically more cost-effective method of cutting with cables with diamond pearls. By investing in the modernization of equipment, we have raised the level of exploitation, with the intention of becoming a serious partner to large construction companies, on infrastructure projects, both in the Republic of Serbia and in the environment.
